Alfred Fitoussi is a doctor of reconstructive and plastic surgery. For his patients, he is much more. He saves lives by repairing compromised, damaged femininity. After spending ten years at the Pitié-Salpêtrière Hospital, Dr. Fitoussi joined Institut Curie’s team in 1994 to take part in the birth of oncoplastic surgery.
A global approach to breast surgery that combines indispensable and necessary care: the aesthetic part of breast cancer ablation, breast reconstruction and breast malformation becomes an essential and integral part of the treatment of breast pathologies. While it was usual to consider breast reconstruction only in the second phase after a damaging first surgery, Dr. Fitoussi’s method consists of considering from the very start the reconstruction process following a procedure and subsequent sacrificed femininity.
As it is inherent to want to feel beautiful and appealing, Dr. Fitoussi devotes his life-saving skills to artfully recreating disfigured breasts. He restores an essential balance in the lives of women to whom self-love has become as absent as their natural insouciance.
For more than twenty years, Dr. Fitoussi has been constantly evolving, perfecting and improving new, less invasive practices (microsurgery, fat injection…) to help his patients with all his kindness. Head of the Inter-University Degree for senological, carcinological and reconstructive surgical techniques, he takes part in training doctors and surgeons who specialise in breast surgery and is the author of several reference works on the subject.
