Jean-Baptiste DJEKA is a plastic artist and a teacher of visual communication for high schools. He has been living and working in Côte d’Ivoire for 15 years. DJEKA did numerous exhibitions and creative residencies on the national and international stage. His projects carrie out awareness. His most meaningful body of work is an exhibition on the dangers of illegal immigration. “The Source of Hope in Tari” was the theme of this great work, shown at the 2018 EU-AU Summit.   As for his future career, DJEKA is willing to keep awaking consciences and taking personal initiatives with an international scope, by continuing to produce works of art.
